Move It or Lose It classes offer the opportunity to exercise in a friendly group at your own pace. They are aimed at people over the age of 60 as all the exercises are low impact and can be done seated or standing. There is no floor work. We do exercises to improve flexibility, aerobic fitness, balance, strength and coordination. A wide range of music and some exercise equipment is used to add interest and variety. After the first class of each month we stay behind to have a cuppa and chat. The emphasis is on fun and inclusivity.
There are two classes on Monday afternoons at 1pm and 2.15pm which each run for an hour. Pre-booking with the instructor Karen is essential as places are limited for safety and enjoyment and the classes are popular and well attended. When classes are full names are put on a waiting list and when a place becomes available people are offered a no obligation free taster session to see if it is suitable for them.
