Explore provides the public library service for York and manages the City Archive. We aim to give everyone somewhere to dream, to discover and to experiment. We love to spark imaginations and share the joy of reading with adults and children. Our network of libraries and reading cafes are places where people can meet up and connect more deeply with the place they live.

Dunnington Library gives you access to the full range of Explore services in an intimate local venue. As well as browse and borrow, please drop-in for a chat and find out what’s going on. You can use a computer, do your printing or connect to our free Wi-Fi. We offer digital support to help you get online too. Dunnington Library is accessible.
